(NDI)--in collaboration with AFCEA, the Department of the Navy, General Dynamics Worldwide Telecommunication Systems, V-Tel, and Nortel Networks--has developed the Web site that will broadcast conference events worldwide over the Internet for participants unable to attend AFCEA's 14th Annual TechNet Asia-Pacific 2000 Conference and Exposition in Oahu, Hawaii, November 16-18, 1999. The virtual conference Web site--www.showspeakers.com--features the video streaming solution created by Network Designs, Inc. Speakers and panelists presenting at AFCEA's TechNet Asia-Pacific 2000 Conference in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Oahu, Hawaii, will be recorded on video. These video images will be converted into streaming video format, then relayed over the Internet to be viewed worldwide just hours after they occur.
Opening to a fully sold-out exposition hall, TechNet Asia-Pacific represents a cooperative effort by the Hawaii AFCEA Chapter, AFCEA International, volunteer speakers and panelists, and corporate exhibitors.
