President and CEO
Marty Schweitzer has over 30 years of senior executive management and leadership experience at every level in the United States Military and civilian Industry. Marty retired as a Brigadier General on 30 September 2014 from the United States Army. His final active duty assignment was Deputy Director for Regional Operations, J3, Joint Staff, the Pentagon, where he managed the day to day global military risk for our Nation. In this capacity he worked closely with all combatant commands, the uniformed Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and many interagency organizations to ensure the day to day needs of the warfighter were met.
Schweitzer now serves as the President & CEO of Network Designs, Inc, (NDi). NDi is a 22 year old IT company that has faithfully provided the federal government with IT support. In his capacity as CEO / President he is working to ensure NDi is able to meet its long term strategic goals. Additionally, Marty is responsible for synchronizing NDi efforts to deliver its services on time through efficient executive management and field integration.
Marty also serves as a Board of Advisor Member to Ballard Brands LLC & Ballard Hospitality LLC. This global company provides services that cover the entire spectrum of the food industry from franchising opportunities to being a global leader in providing remote site services and complete workforce solutions that cover facility management, lodging, dining, housekeeping, and security in order to improve quality of life and productivity. Additionally, Schweitzer serves as a Board of Advisor Member to the Red Gate Group (RGG). RGG has been delivering high quality, customer centric solutions around the world from the combat environment to the highest levels of government including combatant commands, defense agencies, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and interagency working groups pertaining to intelligence analysis, strategic planning, policy development, operational design, and technology integration services.
In his spare time, Marty assists senior military officials to transition out of the military into the civilian workforce.
Marty is a 1985 graduate from Old Dominion University (BS), VA and a 1995 graduate of Indiana University, IN where he earned a MS in Education, Instructional Systems Technology. He is a 2006 graduate of the National War College where he earned the distinction of Distinguished Honor Graduate while securing a MS in National Security Strategy. He served in operational and command assignments at every level in the military with eight combat and operational tours in Panama, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Africa, and Afghanistan.
