President Emeritus and Strategic Advisor
Marty Schweitzer has over 35 years of senior executive management and leadership experience at every level in the United States Military and civilian Industry. Most recently, Marty served as the President & CEO of Network Designs, Inc, (NDi) from 2014-2018. In this capacity as CEO / President he was working to ensure NDi met its long term strategic goals.
Prior to joining NDi, Marty retired as a Brigadier General on 30 September 2014 from the United States Army after serving almost 30 years in uniform. His final active duty assignment was Deputy Director for Regional Operations, J3, Joint Staff, the Pentagon, where he managed the day to day global military risk for our Nation. In this capacity he worked closely with all combatant commands, the uniformed Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and many interagency organizations to ensure the day to day needs of the warfighter were met. His combat tours include Operation Just Cause, Operation Desert Shield / Storm, and 4 deployments in support of OEF spanning 2002-2012.
In his spare time, Marty assists senior military officials to transition out of the military into the civilian workforce.
Marty also serves as a Board of Advisor Member to Ballard Brands LLC & Ballard Hospitality LLC. This global company provides services that cover the entire spectrum of the food industry from franchising opportunities to being a global leader in providing remote site services and complete workforce solutions. Additionally, Schweitzer serves as a Board of Advisor Member to the Red Gate Group (RGG). RGG has been delivering high quality, customer centric solutions around the world from the combat environment to the highest levels of government.
Marty is a 1985 graduate from Old Dominion University (BS), VA and a 1995 graduate of Indiana University, IN where he earned a MS in Education, Instructional Systems Technology. He is a 2006 graduate of the National War College where he earned the distinction of Distinguished Honor Graduate while securing a MS in National Security Strategy. He served in operational and command assignments at every level in the military with eight combat and operational tours in Panama, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Africa, and Afghanistan.
